How To Create A Great Legos Star Wars Collection

Mike Schmidt asked:

Based on the popular movie series, this collection has action figures, space ships and make for a great series to collect. Who wouldn’t want to have Obi Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, the Clone Walker and all the various droids?

When deciding to collect lego star wars, you start by first finding the ones that are appropriate for your age group. These Star War collections begin with sets that work for ages 5-7. The more advance sets are created for ages 9 thru 11 and the very advance (and most expensive sets) are for ages 12 and up. Choosing the ones that are age appropriate insures that you can do them and that you will not be as frustrated when creating them.

When you are starting out with your Star Wars collection, look on the back of the boxes in the store or thoroughly checkout online to determine which collections are available. There are a number of sets that you can get. It might pay to hold onto your first box of lego star wars so that you can keep track of which one you have and which ones you are still hoping to get.

Start out with ones that you can afford. Prices for sets can run from under $10 for small pieces to over $100 for the more advanced and complicated sets with over 1000 pieces in them. Don’t forget that you can make a list of the ones you are looking for and casually mention them to parents and others that might be trying to come up with a gift for a birthday or some other event! Not only do you get something that you want but you’ve also made it easier on them in figuring out what to give.

If you want to get the full collection of lego star wars, you need to not get distracted by all the other collections and sets available! There are so many choices that it’s easy to lose track of your goal. By sticking with this one collection, in a short time period you would soon be able to fight and battle, save planets and rescue Princess Leah just like it was done in the movies!

Lego Star Wars 2 For Sony PS2 (Playstation2)

Jason Denszar asked:

A video game based on the Star Wars movie was released back in April 2005. It had some few changes when it was rendered into a video game, the most apparent of them being that it was made of the ever-popular building block toy-Lego. The game was made to be child-friendly but is still somehow enjoyable for adults to play.

And now, its developers have come up with the sequel to this game. This is an action/adventure game that is reminiscent of the movie from which it was based on. The action is a full combination of foot levels and opportunities to ride vehicles such as Millenium Falcon, AT-ST walkers, and speederbikes.

There are two main modes of play for this game: Story and Free Play. In the Story mode, one or two players can play through the entire gaming adventure as characters from the movie. Meanwhile, any levels you have competed in can be saved automatically so you can come back to them during Free Play. If you are in the middle of the game, and someone wants to join in, it is possible. All you have to do is plug in a controller and push the start button, and you and your friend can enjoy the game together.

You start the game in Mos Eisley Cantina, which also serves as the central hub for all the levels. There are also three lounges labeled IV, V and VI, where you access the levels. You start off with the first level of episode IV available, and once you have completed that more levels will be opened.

If there is something lacking in this particular title it is that it does not allow online play. It would be interesting to see an online match of Lego-ized characters, but this game promises so much action that this is not really seen as liability. Meanwhile, the shorter loading times for the game is a really good thing as you do not waste so much of your time waiting between levels.

As characters have infinite lives, the difficulty level is pretty much gone in this game. If your character gets killed, it will eventually reappear later on and you would only have earned some penalty in the process.

The controls for this game is simple, requiring only single buttons to make different moves such as attack, to unlock special abilities, switching between characters and jumping. However, other times you need a specific control for your character to do certain things. If you want to switch into a particular character in the middle of a game, simply face that character and press the triangle button.

As for the graphics of this game, there is not much to leave you disappointed as it is so much like in the movie version. Some minor glitches might be too minor for it to affect your overall enjoyment of the game. And with sounds that are so much alike that of the movie, there is some huge reason for you to be nostalgic of the film.

Sales Training – Salespeople Add Four Stars to Your Own Movie Premier

Patricia Weber asked:

What can salespeople learn from Ben Hur and Mickey Mouse? Both the movie and the cartoon premiered on November 18th in different years. In the debut, the first public appearance or the introduction, salespeople hold at least four stars, four ideas, to better engage their prospects in making that successful first impression.

What is your goal on the first call? Depending on your product or service, most professional salespeople make the first call a get to know the customer call and to get a follow up appointment. Notice that the primary emphasis is not simply on getting to know you, your product, your service or your company. Unless you are selling pens behind a retail counter or are a retail sales clerk, your customer is not going to make the buying decision in minutes. What is your goal on the initial contact?

Do you have a good fit for the prospect? All salespeople want to sell! But do you want to sell everyone? Ben Hur and Mickey Mouse, now classics, had a different audience. Not every customer will be a good fit for you, your company, your product or your service. During an initial contact it’s a good idea to qualify and find out if this prospect is a good fit for what you’re offering.

How do you get to know your prospect and determine a good fit? In the movie industry, screenings and early viewings determine if and when a movie gets released. In selling, before you get to the initial meeting, do some research and prepare some questions. First, be prepared before you meet. Either research the company or talk with some of your connections about the person. This will spare you from taking time to ask low calorie questions like, “What is your current revenue?” or “Is this your only location?” It’s more effective to research things like this, or save them until the follow-up call. Then, have a few strategic high fat open-ended questions, such as: “Tell me about your top two or three challenges.” “What do you want that you don’t have now?” “Oh, you’ve worked with ‘The Other Company’ in the past. What did you like about them?”  You’re qualifying and finding a fit during the initial sales call.

How do you end the initial contact? If you want to hear applause similar to that at the end of movies like Ben Hur and Mickey Mouse’s premier, your introductory call will balance the questions with listening - listening to all that you guided your prospect to tell you. If they qualify, if there is a good fit, then you want to ask for a decision, the next appointment, or make a recommendation for the prospect if the fit isn’t right.

Movie premiers are all about the movie stars. The glitz and glamour is usually focused on the actors. For an initial sales call to be successful, focus on your star – the prospect. If you have a goal, do some early research, have some thoughtful questions prepared, and then all along the way you have built rapport to continue the sales process. Is a four star initial sales call in your future?

How could those American celebrities possibly **** the United States?

Do-Ba You-Ba Think-Ba That-Ba? asked:

They made their fame, their millions, and received their rewards in this country. The would never succeed in other places but the U.S.

Take, for example, that fat slob Michael Moore. He hates America and this country gave him every opportunity he could ever need. He has had so much success here and doesn’t even help his country out (making movies is not helping his country; somebody else could have made the same movies).

I just don’t see how they could **** a country that gave them more than they needed.

Not all celebrities **** America, I know that.

Famous Movies Featuring Chocolate

Chris Alleny asked:

Chocolate is an important force in the world, and in many of our lives. While we might not think about it on a day to day basis, we’d definitely miss it if there was no more chocolate to be found. In addition, chocolate has been important in several movies and books over the years.

The three most popular of these films are probably the two adaptations of Roald Dahl’s 1964 book called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the film adaptation of Joanne Harris’s 1999 book Chocolat. Here’s some information about all three of these famous movies that center around chocolate.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

There were two adaptations of this book - one in 1971 and another in 2005. The 1971 adaptation is called Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, due to the then-association of the name Charlie with Communist Vietnamese soldiers. The movie starred Gene Wilder and was directed by Mel Stuart. It received an Academy Award nomination for the score.

Recently, another adaptation was made, directed by Tim Burton. This film has the same name as the book, and stars Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka. This box office success got a good reaction from the critics, as well as a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Costume Design at the seventy-eighth Academy Awards. The film was released in the summer of 2005, and has significant plot differences from the earlier adaptation. Neither exactly match the plot of the book.

In this movie Willy Wonka was choosing a new owner for the factory. He did this through selling candy bars with golden tickets inside. One of the people who received the tickets was Charlie, a boy from a poor family. Once arriving at the factory the winners are dazzled by wondrous candy creations such as the chocolate river. A girl eventually winds up trying to drink from the river and accidentally falls in to her parents horror. By the end of the movie Charlie who has a deep appreciation for people and kindness is the winner.

Chocolat

Chocolat was first written in 1999, then adapted for film in 2000. This successful film pulled in more than $150,000,000 around the world, and received Golden Globe and Academy Award Nominations for Best Original Score, Best Actress and Best Picture. The film tells the story of a young mother who comes to a fictional French village with her young daughter and opens a small chocolate shop.

The chocolate she produces changes the lives of the people she lives around. There’s a great deal of strife between the woman and the village, starting with the fact that she opens her shop during Lent. However, her confections eventually encourage secret love, help a married couple, and help a woman leave her abusive husband.

We all love chocolate, and box office figures show that we also love movies about chocolate. If you’re feeling that craving, why not check out a chocolate-based film and enjoy it with a brownie, truffle, or scoop of chocolate ice cream?
