am’s new Star Trek movie has indeed done the unthinkable and rejuvenated the ailing Star Trek franchise. With an all new cast (bar one awesome guest star), a bold new direction and production values that are far beyond anything ever seen in a Star Trek film before, the classic icon of space-based Science Fiction entertainment is reborn for a new generation.

Chris Pine was a controversial choice for Kirk when he was announced in the role, but he has turned out to be every bit the cocky upstart we’d hoped Kirk would be. Spock is spot on, or even Spock-on, if you will.

The action in this brand new Star Trek film looks fantastic. Simon Pegg as Scotty is great, if a bit manic. Karl Urban did seem a bit dark for Bones, but again he has nailed the part. The same goes for the rest of the cast. The effects look incredible and the production itself looks like no other Star Trek property ever before. Quite frankly, we finally have a massive-scale film that does the Star Trek name justice. Fans haven’t been able to claim that since First Contact or even The Wrath of Khan!

It does seem that Abrams and his band of merry revisionists have created the only thing that made sense- an incarnation of Star Trek that is totally viable for a modern film audience. The look, the cast and the style of the film looks like the original Star Trek would if it had been created brand new now, but it still maintains enough of the classic elements to be recognizably Trek.

It is amazing to think that after all these years in limbo, the Star Trek universe is about to be the coolest thing around. Mr Abrams, you’ve made a lot of fans angry, but you’ve made even more very happy indeed, and see those other guys at the side? That’s the new generation of fans that will be flocking to the cinema to go where nobody has gone before. Awesome.

The next Star Trek film is already being prepped and plotted, according to JJ Abrams. The first movie in the new era of Star Trek has impressed execs so much that they are eager to get the first sequel underway as soon as possible. The new franchise, essentially an alternate universe retelling of the Star Trek franchise, looks set to take us on many adventures to come.

Rajniti movie which is schedule to release in 2009, a Bollywood film about Political Drama. Rajniti is a forthcoming Hindi language film to be directed by Prakash Jha. The political thriller stars Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal in leading roles. Although Central Florida has never quite lived up to its reputation as “Hollywood East,” many classic – and some extremely medicore – movies have been shot in the Orlando area over the years. The brief list below highlights some of the more notable films that were partly or wholly shot in Central Florida, as well as one cult movie that boasts a significant connection to the Orlando area:

Parenthood [1989] – Directed by Ron Howard, Parenthood starred Steve Martin, Mary Steenburgen, Jason Robards, Tom Hulce, Joaquin Phoenix, Dianne Wiest and Keanu Reeves. Although this comedy/drama dealt with the trials and tribulations of a “Midwestern” family, many scenes were shot in Central Florida, including Orlando, College Park and Altamonte Springs. The birthday scene was shot at the now-defunct Mystery Fun House across from Universal Orlando.

Lethal Weapon 3 [1992] – The building that gets blown up in the opening sequence of the film is actually the old Orlando City Hall building, which had been scheduled for demolition anyway. The rest of Lethal Weapon 3 was filmed elsewhere.

Trekkies [1997] – This hilarious documentary on obsessive Star Trek fans profiled a Central Florida dentist, Dr. Denis Bourguignon, who had opened a “Starbase Dental” office full of Star Trek memorabilia and whose staff wore Star Trek uniforms.

The Blair Witch Project [1998] – Although this incredibly successful independent movie was filmed entirely in Maryland, its director and cast all graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Made for about $35,000, The Blair Witch Project eventually grossed nearly $250 million worldwide.

The Waterboy [1998] – The “Bourbon Bowl” game at the end of the movie was filmed at the Citrus Bowl in downtown Orlando. Many of the extras in the scene were UCF students. The Waterboy starred Adam Sandler as “Robert ‘Bobby’ Boucher Jr.,” as well as Kathy Bates and Henry Winkler.

Monster [2003] – Charlize Theron captured an Oscar as “Best Actress” for her portrayal of ********** and serial killer Aileen Wuornos, who was executed for a notorious killing spree during the 1980s. Monster, which also starred Christina Ricci and Bruce Dern, was shot entirely in Central Florida.

Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector [2006] – Larry the Cable Guy (real name: Dan Whitney) resides in Sanford, Florida, and his film debut was shot entirely on location in Orlando. Judging by the myriad of negative reviews, critics seemed decidedly underwhelmed by Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector and a sequel appears unlikely.

In addition, before Disney closed its Central Florida animation studio at Disney-MGM Studios in 2003, a number of animated films were worked on there such as Mulan (1998), Lilo & Stitch (2002) and Brother Bear (2003), among others. The space is now occupied by an attraction called The Magic of Disney Animation, a behind-the-scenes look at the animation process.

“Disney-MGM Studios still maintains a backlot tram tour that takes you past movie sets and props, as well as Catastrophe Canyon, a showcase for state-of-the-art special effects,” said Kyle Collins, Director of Interactive Marketing for HotelsCorp.com. “In addition, both Disney-MGM Studios and Universal Studios feature a variety of rides and attractions based on popular movies such as Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Beauty & the Beast, Star Tours, The Great Movie Ride, Revenge of the Mummy, Men in Black Alien Attack, Back to the Future the Ride and Twister . . . Ride it Out, among others.”

Central Florida is also home to the Florida Film Festival, a 10-day event in early April that features American independent films, foreign films, documentaries, regional and family films, animation, narrative films and midnight movies. Past attendees have included Dennis Hopper, Steve Buscemi, William H. Macy and Oliver Stone. The Florida Film Festival takes place at the Enzian Theater in Maitland.

The history of the Italian cinematography began right after the Luminere brothers had discovered the medium. At that time Pope Leo XIII was shown on the screen for a few seconds while blessing the camera. The Italian film industry appeared between 1903 and 1908, led by three main organizations - the Roman Cines, the Ambrosio of Turin and Italy Film. In a short period of time, these first organizations achieved a worthy production quality. Soon after that they began selling films at home and abroad.

One of the first Italian film genres was the historical film. The first film of this genre was shot in 1905 by Filoteo Alberini and had the title “The Capture of Rome”. Then there followed other historical films that depicted such famous heroes as Messalina, Spartacus, Nero, Julius Caesar and Cleopatra. Historical film “The Last Days of Pompeii” directed by Arturo Ambrosio in 1908 got its glory very quickly so that it was screened again in 1913 by Mario Caserini. Besides, the film “Mark Antony and Cleopatra” was screened in 1913 by Enrico Guazzoni.

The first film stars who shot in passionate film became actresses Lyda Borelli and Francesca Bertini. Other film genres screened social topics and were based on the literature. In 1916 there was shot the film “Cenere” (Ash) that was based on the book by Grazia Deledda. After the World War I the sound was introduced though it did not help Italian cinematography. Because of the economic problems the sales of Italian films fell. Some time later the Film industry recovered and the new innovative films directed by Alessandro Blasetti, Mario Camerini and Augusto Genina were shot.

Alessandro Blasetti directed “Sole” in 1928 opening his career, following by directing the famous Italian comedian Ettore Petrolini in his comic Nero. The next famous film genre was called “White phones” as they were present in scenes. The films of this genre depicted people from the high society. A huge dose of formal morality was obligatory in these films to show the culture of the epoch. Most part of stars started their careers from such films. They are: Vittorio De Sica, Alida Valli and others. During the Second World War some important structures for Italian cinema were created with Mussolini’s approval. Everything necessary for filmmaking was provided: technical services, theatres, and a cinema school for students. At that time Vittorio Mussolini created a national production company and organized the work of the most gifted authors, directors and actors.

Phoebe has some behavioural issues that steer her into trouble with her school principal, but she finds a good spirit in the drama teacher of the school. The teacher casts her in the lead role for Alice in Wonderland. Yet there are problems in her behaviour that can be full understood after watching this movie.

One of the most awaited among Upcoming Hollywood Movies is Sunshine Cleaning that stars Amy Adams and Emily Blunt. It will be released by the mid of March 2009. This film has been directed by Christine Jeffs. This is a fascinating story about a high school cheer leading captain who dated Rose Lorkowski ( Amy Adams ), finds herself a single mother working as a maid.
