Heather Ash Amara asked:

Celebrating the many transitions in your life, from difficult to ecstatic, weaves a thread of spirit into everything you do. It also encourages you to be in the present moment with your full, conscious attention. The act of celebrating keeps you attuned to the gifts of all aspects of life, from birth, to death, to rebirth. Your celebrations can mark not only the expected holidays, but also the mundane, the unexpected, and the challenging.

Creating personal celebrations helps you integrate change because it moves your brain from thinking about the experience to symbolically communicating with your full being and taking physical action. This stance allows your body to embrace the shift and bypasses the habitual, cyclical nature of your thoughts.

Bringing your community (work, spiritual, or family) together to celebrate is a beautiful way to mark the passing of time and to gather energy. Your ancestors probably gathered with their tribes, clans, or families at important times to share information and goods, to reconnect their hearts, and to reestablish ties. Imagine what it would it be like to gather once a year to celebrate your friends and family and honor their internal and external changes: births, deaths, new insights, and growth.

Creative Intent

Creativity and intent are the two aspects of a transformational celebration. Combining your creativity with your intent is a catalyst for alchemy. Creativity invites you to dream big, to use celebration as an artful expression of your heart. Intent gives you focus on what you want to accomplish. These two guiding forces need to be balanced in your celebrations and your life.

To apply creative intent to a celebration, start by dreaming all the places you could celebrate change in your life. Look back at major life shifts and imagine how it would be if you had consciously marked them with a ceremony. Dream big, with no limitations. The question to ask is “How?” How would you celebrate cleaning your house? How would you ceremonialize ending a relationship? How could you honor menopause? Creativity comes when we look at change and explore its gifts and possibilities.

Intent then brings focus and direction to our dreaming. The questions of intent are “Why?” and “What?” Why would you celebrate cleaning your house? What is your purpose? Why honor the end of a relationship? What do you want to get out of the ceremony? Why would you mark the start of menopause? What would you like from doing it consciously? The intent gives the celebration purpose, guiding its direction and outcome.

There is no right or wrong way to celebrate. Ceremony is three-dimensional, physical art, wide open to possibility. As with all art, there are some guidelines and tools that provide a structure to work with and enhance the impact of the creation. Remember that these guidelines can be gleefully abandoned as spirit moves you.

Steps to Create a Celebration or Ritual

After you explore your creativity through sacred brainstorming and get clear on your intent, there are five steps to create a spectacular celebration: contain, release, invite, deepen, and open. These work whether the ritual is for you alone or for any size group.

1. Contain

The first step to ritual is to move out of your daily world into a world of magic and possibility. Create a sense of the sacred by lighting incense or candles, picking smells or colors that support your intent, and/or building an altar. Use pictures, statues, natural objects, or crafts to create a place for meditation, reflection, or inspiration. Your altar can be for used as a general anchor or for a specific intent.

For a general altar you may use your favorite deity or guide, an object for each element in the four corners, candles, crystals, found and natural objects, or a bowl of water with flowers. If you want to build an altar for a specific purpose, ask yourself, “What will reflect the specific thing I am working on back to me?” For an abundance altar, you may use money from around the world, overflowing fruit baskets, and pictures of what you want to manifest. For an altar to release a relationship you could use pictures, writings, and a candle with the intent to release the person. For an altar to dedicate yourself to your spiritual path, try a picture of an open road, a beautiful inspirational nature scene, or your favorite superhero (to remind you of your power to move past obstacles).

Once you have set up sacred space, you can call in any guides, deities, power animals, ancestors, or teachers. Many traditions call in the four elements (air, fire, water, earth), which are the foundation of life. The elements also represent a part of our being, and hold a direction (east, south, west, north). By calling in guides and helpers and/or the four elements, you amplify the energy of your actions.

2. Release

To create space for new things in your life, you must first release the old. It is vital that you let go of what no longer serves you, and doing so with gratitude and love encourages the release to happen gracefully. Doing release work makes the obstacle conscious, which then gives you the ability to move it out.

Questions to ask:

- What can you release to bring more space into your life?

- What emotion, pattern, agreement, or fear is keeping you stuck?

- What are you willing to let go of?

Creative ideas:

- Write down the fear or emotion you want to release and burn the paper (fire), bury it (earth), tie it in a tree (air), or wash the ink off (water).

- Dance, tone, chant, or speak out the pattern, emotion, or fear.

3. Invite

Now that there is space, what do you want to invite into your being? Inviting in the new allows the universe to align with your desires and support you fully.

Questions to ask:

- What do you want more of in your life?

- How can you open to bring this in?

- What emotion, new agreement, or perspective do you want to experience?

Creative ideas:

- Write down the feeling state you want to bring in and burn the paper to bring more energy (fire), bury it to ask for grounding (earth), or tie it in a tree to fly (air).

- Dance, tone, chant, or speak the pattern, emotion, or state you want to create. - Hold the emotion or pattern consciously and anchor it in your body.

- Visualize or meditate to ask for guidance and open to the new.

4. Deepen

Leave space for stillness and integration to absorb the effect of your release and calling in. Meditate, write, create artwork, eye gaze with a partner, or sit silently.

5. Open

Just as you consciously created a container for your celebration, you also want to consciously open your container and bring what you learned back into the world. Make sure you open your circle by thanking and letting go of anything you called in at the beginning of your ceremony. State your intent again, and then feast or do something nourishing for yourself. Many ceremonies and celebrations end with good food and communing.

Example:

Now that you have the guidelines, let’s see how it works with a specific example. For a celebration to clean your house, your creative brainstorm may bring you the following ideas: play loud music and dance through the house, call your friends and pick a day to clean your home at the same time and then go out to lunch to celebrate, spend fifteen minutes every day loving your home and belongings by putting things in their proper place.

When you look at your intent, it may be anything from: “Make sure I can find my keys and important items each day,” to “Use my housecleaning as a symbol of clearing away my fears and mental clutter.”

Suppose you decide to pick a time each month to clean, and you invite your best friend to join you, with the intent to use the cleaning to clear your own mental clutter. Here is how you could use the five steps of ritual:

1. Contain

Light a candle in each room to remind you of your intent for clarity. Call in the energies of your grandmother, who was a fabulous housekeeper, and your spiritual teacher. (You may have pictures of them both in a specific place in your house during the cleaning.)

2. Release

Go through your house dusting and cleaning all the rooms, stating an affirmation to yourself, i.e., “As I clear this dust and clutter I clear my mind.”

3. Invite

Go through your house again with a scented spray, bells, or flowers. Say out loud in each room, “I invite harmony and joy into this space.”

4. Deepen

Sit in your favorite room and send blessings to your space. Let the silence quiet you.

5. Open

Blow out all the candles, and thank your grandmother and teacher for their support. Call your friend and make your date for lunch.

Celebrations bring joy and play into all the nooks and crannies of your life journey. Instead of waiting for the “big moment” in the future, celebrate each day, from the simple tasks to the challenges, from the mundane to the sacred.

When it comes to celebrity magazines, you had better be sure that you are picking the right ones. There are many different magazines that you can choose from, and you will find that the longer you read celebrity magazines, the more apt you are going to be have your favorites when it comes to these magazines and to be able to have magazines that you feel are very important to you when it comes to celebrity news. There are several magazines that you can choose from, and there are several that you should read for in depth coverage of your favorite celebrities and what they are currently up to.

People Magazine

People Magazine has a circulation of 3.75 million and it was named “Magazine of the Year” by Advertising Age in October 2005. This award was for excellence in editorial, circulation and advertising. People offers many celebrity articles, however, they began as a personal interest magazine, and still publish many features on personal interest topics. Along with the stories about celebrities and other things, you will find many different stories about regular people and people who have made the news for many different reasons. People Magazine usually does in depth coverage of personal interest stories and big news stories, and has several famous features. For instance, they do a column each year that talks about who they feel are the sexiest people of that previous year.

Us Weekly

US Weekly is a magazine that is affiliated with People Magazine. US Weekly offers breaking news and information on top celebrity stories and styles. The main focus of the magazine is on celebrities while People centers on personal interest topics. US Weekly has an exclusive deal with MTV’s “The Hills” and has special issues all year long. Some of the topics of these special issues are best bodies and best makeovers. Publisher Jann Wenner insists that US Weekly is “nice to celebrities” and not as gossipy as its competitors.

Star Magazine

Founded in 1974, Star Magazine is mostly tabloid derived, including sections titled “Worst of the Week” which details the worst fashion mistakes of the week and “Knife styles of the Rich and Famous” which cover plastic surgery operations that celebrities have done. Overall, Star Magazine focuses on the latest celebrity news, gossip, photos and exclusives. Star has a “Beauty Club” which gives makeup tips and promotes certain beauty products, and also has weekly quizzes and games.

Ok! Magazine

Ok! Magazine is one of the top magazines when it comes to celebrity gossip. OK! Magazine focuses on exclusive celebrity news, hot photos and videos and fashion trends. OK! Magazine is published in the United States but also circulated in Europe, where it was founded. It is a weekly publication, which helps to retain readers while entertaining them as well. OK! is best known for its top coverage of celebrity weddings and also for exclusive interviews and personal revelations of the hottest celebrities in the entertainment industry. The magazine focuses on positive developments in celebrity’s lives.

Entertainment Weekly

Entertainment Weekly is not tabloid driven like many of its competitors. EW is fashioned toward a more general audience, particularly young people and women. Unlike many of its competitors, Entertainment Weekly focuses on breaking entertainment news about celebrities, TV shows, movies, music and books. EW also contains celebrity interviews, movie and DVD reviews including top selling book, music and DVD titles.

No matter which of the news magazines you are reading on a daily basis, you should be sure to know that each of these magazines provides a slightly different take on the entertainment world. There are many talented actors and musicians who do not receive any mention in these publications. Besides the titles listed above, there are more in-depth and specialized magazines to choose from. Also, although many of these magazines look similar, it is important to remember that some magazines which revolve around celebrity news are more trustworthy than others.

The magazines that are in the top five celebrity magazines all have very wide and extensive histories. They are magazines that pride themselves on providing the readers with as much news a possible when it comes to the various types of gossip that they are interested in. Most of the time, these news magazines provide information on celebrities, wealthy individuals and other people that have, for one reason or another, made it their goal to be in the news and in the public eye. This means, however, that there is a lot of competition amongst the magazines to sell the most copies. Therefore, when you are reading most of the celebrity magazines, you should take things with a grain of salt and make sure that the information you have been given actually checks out in the real world.

Bibin R. asked:

Many people can’t seem to get enough of anything that has to do with celebrities’ news, gossips, scandals, fashion, and lifestyle, just to name a few. All these are captured by celebrity pictures, whether celebrities like it or not. TV and movie stars have no way of escaping the prying eyes of the paparazzi. Every move celebrities make even in their private moments is always caught on camera. Photos of stars in their most glamorous or most unflattering looks grace the pages of various celebrity magazines and websites.

Celebrity photos have been popular especially during the World War II, when GIs pin up on barrack walls pictures of female movie stars wearing either one-piece swimsuits or low-cut evening gowns. According to historians, the fascination of Americans with celebrity photos started with the illustration “Gibson Girl” that landed on the pages of a magazine in 1887. Prior to the Internet boom, people were content seeing images of celebrities on magazines and movie posters. But nowadays, it’s easy to access celebrity photos on the Internet. You can view and download photos of Hollywood stars in just a few minutes. Or you may download a Bollywood actress picture if you adore Indian actresses. All it takes is just a few clicks on celebrity websites that can provide hundreds of celebrity photos in various shapes and sizes.

People love to view celebrity photos, even to the point of being overly fascinated with the who’s who in Tinseltown. Surfing the Web for Hollywood actress pictures has been a national pastime for men and women alike. Some people make hobbies out of celebrity photos by using them as desktop wallpapers. In particular, teenagers usually like posting photo printouts of their favorite actors, actresses, and musicians on the walls of their rooms.

Why are people so interested with celebrity pictures? Pictures of celebrities have entertained people across the globe as much as their acting, singing, and dancing prowess. Viewing a photo of your favorite star gives you an enjoyable distraction, helping you get through a busy, routinary, and tiring day.

But compared to talents, pictures have a more visible and lasting effect. It’s because pictures immortalize celebrities. Even after the death of immensely popular stars, their memories remain alive. Also, photos instantly elicit various reactions. How many times have you wondered why a certain actress always wears horrible gowns on the red carpet, or why a young star has suddenly become skinny or overweight? A celebrity’s personal life, usually depicted on photos, bothers you even if you know too well that it’s none of your business.

Although they appear like demigods on the screen, celebrities are “humanized” on photos. To some extent, celebrity photos give fans a glimpse of how certain superstars make a lapse in fashion, speech, or manners. To satisfy people’s curiosity, photos also show the appearance of Hollywood stars when they’re away from the limelight. For example, some Hollywood actress pictures show that certain celebrities can still look hot and attractive even without makeup. Photos of pregnant celebrity moms as well as celebrity hunks babysitting their children are just as popular. Thus, celebrity photos prove that actors and actresses despite their fame and glamour are humans just like everybody else.

Sometimes a movie is all about the music. Many directors are not only great story tellers, they also have a great ear for music, and they pack their movies with the most hypnotic and unforgettable tunes. Sometimes this does backfire and you end up with a mediocre movie but a killer soundtrack. Sometimes the movie simply ends up being an entertaining music video. Here’s a look at some movies that are nothing without the beats and tunes playing in the background. Check them out on satellite TV.

Young Adam: This relatively low key British flick didn’t really hit it big in any sense. It came and went. Despite starring Ewan McGregor, Tilda Swinton and Peter Mullan, ‘Adam’ didn’t make a lasting cinematic dent. It did have great, lush HD worthy visuals though, and more importantly, the soundtrack was scored by David Byrne, of Talking Heads fame. Byrnes’ compositions pitch dark violins against throaty double basses and you get a somewhat moody, dreamlike soundscape. The last song you hear is Great Western Road, which simply sings despair—it’s big and dramatic and subtle all at once, the perfect end to a movie based on an old existential novel.

Lost in Translation: While this movie won all sorts of accolades and Oscar nods, the truth is that some people love it while others **** it. It is remarkably well shot—it looks great, and you can’t not watch it on some large flat screen HD TV and sigh at all its loveliness; but even if you’re not such a fan of the film itself, you can’t help but fall in love with the soundtrack. It’s hip and pleasant. It’s like aural candy. It’s filled with shoegazing tunes that make Tokyo look like a brilliant indie kid’s dream. Great for putting on your iPod.

Lost Highway: This is a David Lynch film which does its best to cloud your head with visions of dark and odd things. The movie is surreal and odd and discomfiting. The soundtrack though, is palatable and likeable. It really just works. Watch the movie in HD and enjoy the music on high fi speakers.

Empire Records: This was a film that really tries to be cool and it’s somewhat hard to believe in it; but it’s got a really catching soundtrack with tunes that will get inside your head like some nefariously darling ohrworm.

Vanilla Sky: Cameron Crowe’s remake of the remarkably good Spanish film wasn’t spectacular—the original was, for many, better left untouched. But Crowe, who used to work for Rolling Stone does have a keen ear. In his version Abre los Ojos, Crowe packs in a little bit of Buckley, some Good Vibrations, Sigur Ros and some Radiohead. It’s a good little mix of atmospheric rock and straight up pop.

Trainspotting: Danny Boyle managed to make a great cultish film with a great soundtrack as well. The movie, starring a young Ewan McGregor, was about a group of heroin addicts living in London in the nineties. It was very zeitgeisty as were all the tunes. As a whole, it worked out well. The music fits the movie.

Free movie downloads - Has the world gone mad? I remember when I was a kid I only got to see a film once a week if I was lucky. The times when we did get to go and watch movies in the old days were determined by the amount of money in mom’s purse. Oh how I worried over “Zorro” if I couldn’t afford to go the flicks to follow up on his life and death escapades in his films. In them days it cost me an arm and a leg to go to the cinema to watch my screen idol, oops sorry mom, it cost you. (Sixpence) Oh boy when I think back I sure had to grovel for that sixpence, or work my fingers to the bone emptying the pee-potty just to see if Zorro “died,” after the last episode ended with Zorro dying from a bullet in his back. It was heartbreaking to see mom’s purse empty after paying the rent, couldn’t the rent man wait for his money. Oh how I hated that man, pity Zorro wouldn’t sort him out I thought. The pain cut deep but it’s still good to know Zorro is still going strong three thousand years later.

How times have changed with free movie downloads at your convenience and without having to work for the pleasure. Isn’t this mad world just great? I often think was the tanner (sixpence) entrance fee into the cinema expensive in comparison with today’s prices to watch a film. Today you ain’t getting much change out of ten quid after paying the admission fee, buying a fizzy drink and popcorn. This is a sad situation for parents with two kids or more who want to go and see the latest box office smash hit, starring Leonardo De Caprico, or the new blockbuster film where Pinocchio’s nose doesn’t grow anymore. Well the good news is the sad times have long gone, now that we have literally thousands of websites giving you the opportunity to download free movies/films and much more.

To download free movies involves nothing more than using some common sense and patience. It is a matter of choosing a reputable company that delivers their promise and asks for nothing more. The hardest part about the entire issue is you will be faced with a multitude of choices in websites offering this service. Take your time till you’re comfortable with a specific site you are going to download your online free movies from. As with most things with the internet you have to be cautious and wary of many factors. Downloading from the internet regardless of what the download is can be risky business, so you need to know about these risks and what to do to avoid them.

Are you looking to download the latest film starring your favorite screen idol from the Internet for free? Fine but first things first, It is important you avoid any involvement with downloading pirate films. Files uploaded illegally and which violate copyright laws represent much of what is on the Internet, so you need to be careful. You are breaking the law by doing this, and the consequences are severe if you’re caught. Because there is no full prove method in force as of yet to catch internet thieves, the odds of getting caught are slim, however ask you’re self is it really worth the worry. It’s only a matter of time when those committing theft are behind bars. Other issues linked to illegal downloading, is the possibility of causing serious harm to your computer, i.e. infected by a virus or spy ware. Not to mention the embarrassment of having to explain why explicit pornographic pictures pop up on your computer screen. Identity theft is another troublesome factor you have to be wary about.

Engineers work endless hours ordered by the music and film industries looking for ways to stop illegal downloading of copyright material. Like stated before, it’s just a matter of time before thieves are brought to justice. These engineers aren’t engineers through being stupid, they are very clever people, and will in time find the solution for catching them who break the law.

You need to be part of and on line membership club where downloads are 100% legal thus giving you peace of mind with assurance of no computer viruses, spy ware and mal ware giving you trouble. Although there are free’ web sites keeping their promise of free movie downloads, they have in some cases have no jurisdiction over a shared network. It only takes one corrupt file and its end of story for your computer (and maybe end of the line for you.)

A safe website is (streamonlinemovies) where the latest films, television programs, chart topping music and much more can be downloaded without the worry of your identity being stolen or going to prison. We have a lot of clever clogs out there who fight the system and succeed, however it only takes one slip up like downloading illegal movies through a file sharing method such as p2p, where you can be easily tracked through your IP.

Make sure when choosing a site to download from that it only supports legal movie downloads. When you do this it guarantees better quality downloads you also benefit from download speed and evade the issue of corrupt files. Remember, reputable sites don’t normally give a free service, but for what they charge for becoming a member to download of their site is nowhere near as expensive as it would cost you to go to the cinema, or hire videos or CDs from the movie rental shop. You may have to pay a certain amount either per movie, monthly, yearly or on a lifetime basis. Usually a lifetime membership only costs a mere $50 or 50, work that out over a year and we are talking pennies and dimes to watch your favorite movies. The vast majority of movie download websites provide you with the software required to burn the movie onto CD or DVD. Legal websites as a rule also normally provide a free technical support system for users experiencing download problems.

Choose a website that has a stock of millions of media files which they frequently update with the latest box office movies hits, video clips and videos. Ignore sites with little selection as you don’t want to be limited.

Check how many members/users use the particular site you’re interested in for downloading your movies online. If it runs into hundreds of thousands then hundreds of thousands of people can’t all be wrong in their choice of a good downloading site. The higher the figure of users signifies that the service the site is offering is popular and well liked

If you join up with a site as such it is a good chance they offer free software to help you download and convert your selected favorite films into formats compatible with your media player and digital portal player like iPod, Zune and other. If money is required of you for this service then forget it. Why pay when you can get it free from most download sites.

The best part about being involved with a renowned site is, when it comes to download speed, certain websites understand your needs for fast action and can accelerate downloading time which is great for the eager beaver. You are no different from most people who want to download movies fast. Film file sizes are big and on average fall within 600 - 700 MB. Transfer usually takes about 60 minutes or more, therefore good reason to sniff out a site that cares for its members/users and allows for that extra speed.

Select a site offering their customers 24/7 customer and technical support. Because you never know what time of the day you will need help.

It seems almost impossible to imagine now that Star Wars is such a big part of our culture and the history of movies that before Star Wars hit the screens in May of 1977, it was considered to be a long shot to ever get made much less become the huge success that it did. But from the moment George Lucas got the vision for Star Wars and began drafting those early scripts, it was clear this was going to be a movie that would be like nothing that was ever seen before.

George Lucas was not a new kid on the block in Hollywood when he started trying to get his majestic space trilogy, Star Wars, made. While he wasn’t the Hollywood powerhouse he is now, he had some credibility after making the delightful and successful American Graffiti. But even in that early movie making experience, Lucas was showing himself to be a visionary as American Graffiti went on the set in motion the 50s nostalgia trend, was spun off into the successful “Happy Days” TV show and launched the brilliant career of Harrison Ford.

You would think with that success, studios would have seen the genius of George Lucas and embraced Star Wars. But from the very beginning, Star Wars was a gamble. The vision was unique and untried and to studios, that meant risk. Too often innovative and bold film making is not successful at a financial level. Studios like to go with things that are going to make money for sure. That is why studio after studio turned down the chance to make Star Wars, even Universal Studios, who made American Graffiti, passed on it because they said it was a “silly idea.” You can imagine how the studio ate those words when Star Wars took the movie business by storm and netted hundreds of millions of dollars for Fox Studios because they were willing to “take a chance” on George Lucas’s incredible vision.

Star Wars created innovative story telling and movie making ideas that were untried before and so far ahead of their time that we overlook that in these days of movies that are completely computer generated. There is no question that the special effects of Star Wars had a lot to do with its massive appeal. Nobody has ever seen such realistic effects done before. If you can remember the first time you saw Episode 4, the first Star Wars to come out, that moment at the beginning when you see that huge Star Destroyer is one that literally takes your breath away. And the effects just kept on coming until the amazing battle scene at the end where the audience literally felt like they were right there in the fighter with Luke Skywalker, using the force to blow up the enemy star ship and escape as the fireball erupted all over the screen. It was a cinematic triumph.

We can all be grateful that one studio and one amazing film maker were courageous enough to make a movie that was unlike any before it. We, the movie going public, got this wonderful Star Wars series to enjoy and share with our kids for generations to come and the movie industry would never be the same because they took that chance.

Abdullah Nazir asked:

The field of the consumer behavior is the study of the individuals, groups/organization and the processes. Although, numerous factors affect the buying decision process but the use of right Celebrity has the great influence on the consumers.

Marketers pay millions to celebrities hoping that they will bring magic to their brands they endorse and make them more appealing and successful. The effectiveness of using a celebrity to endorse a firm’s product can generally be improved by matching the image of the celebrity with the personality of the product and the actual or desired concept of the target market. There is a high correlation between the appearance, knowledge, liking, credibility, and advertising believability and purchase intentions.

The theory behind the use of celebrity is that featuring stars in advertising has special cultural significance, born from the unique way they have constructed an image through various forms of media. In associating the celebrities with the product, these special meanings are passed on the products or brands. In a competitive market, a famous face can give a brand an added appeal and helps it to stand out. Celebrities have particular configurations of meanings that cannot found elsewhere.

Sports celebrities are often popular, picks to endorsers of everything from apparel to vehicles. For example Nike used basketball star Michael Jordan as spoke person since 1985 and the Air Jordan line was still selling. In December of 2000, Venus Williams signed the most lucrative endorsement deal ever for a female athlete when she agreed to a three-year deal with the Reebok international reportedly worth $40 million.

Another popular industry from which to draw celebrity endorsers is the music industry. One of the famous singer Britney Spears was singing her way through Pepsi commercials in 2005. Adnan Sami performed the same process in Asian market for the Pepsi Ad. Along the same lines, companies often use actors, actresses and supermodels to endorse their products.

However, in addition to the exorbitant costs, there are risks and danger associated with the use of celebrities in advertising. The best laid plan can still backfire. Pepsi signed up Madonna for several million dollars in order to feature her in Pepsi campaign. Then controversy over the religious imagery in Madonna’s “Prayer” video led to the threat of a consumer boycott and Pepsi lost $10 million. Cybill shepherd’s Ad for the beef industry flopped when she publicly admitted she rarely ate red meat. These examples are only a few of the problems with celebrity endorsement. Unfortunately, there are hidden dangers when using celebrities. A Celebrity’s consumer appeal may fade if the celebrity disappears from the media spot light before the end of his or her contract.

If so many dangers abound, why use celebrities? Many advertisers feel that celebrities make an advertisement more effective. The use of celebrity has demonstrated to lead to higher recall of an advertisement. For example in early 2001, Revlon ceased using celebrity models and hired relative unknowns for their Ad campaigns, thinking women wanted models to whom they could relate more easily. In November 2001, they reversed this decision and started hiring celebrities such as Julianne Moore and Halle Berry, after losing 10.6 percent of the cosmetics market share over the previous year.

The above examples reflect the importance of the celebrities in the product association and their effects. Marketers must be comprehended before the selection of the celebrities. For example, a make-up company may target both young and old women, and the aspirational celebrity chosen for younger women may be non-aspirational for the older women.

Consumers who have used brand associations to construct their self-identities may be more brands loyal and less likely to switch to competitors’ brands in response to price cuts, special displays, bundling tactics and coupons.

To assess the effectiveness of a celebrity endorsement, all three elements must be taken into consideration celebrity image, brand image and consumer aspirations.

The celebrities can be used to reduce the conflict between the nations or a country. Adnan Sami live in India and Annie in Pakistan; both were appeared together in the Pepsi commercial. Pepsi introduced this Ad in both of the markets of Pakistan and India. Such type of Ads shows the good relation between the countries or nations.

Right use of Celebrity plays a vital role for the success of the brand along its advertising over the target market. Selection of Celebrity requires a detailed study to predict its affects on the target market. Companies must have to conduct the complete research process before the selection of the Celebrity for their desired association with the product, especially in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) celebrities’ selection which becomes more critical.

Celebrity scandals discovered through the latest gossip on celebrities and backed up with pictures of the celebs on front page tabloids, produce jaw dropping OMG I can’t believe that happened reactions in supermarket lanes across the world. If you knew the life of the people standing behind you in that supermarket lane – you just might start following them instead of the celebrity scandal filled tabloids.

The latest gossip on celebrity scandals with the sometimes manipulated pictures of celebs are just mirrors of society. Celebrity scandals are created with the latest gossip and mixed with pictures of the celebs and topped with scandalous topics that fill the courts, bedrooms and hospital rehab centers around the world. Teen pregnancies hardly make the news. Real people have sex, do drugs, party, fight with their best friend, have an affair, fight for custody, divorce, get arrested in a bar fight, and enter rehab. Celebrity scandals exist in your neighborhood – but without the celebrities.

We look at Hollywood celebrities and pictures of celebs involved in the latest celebrity scandal, we hear the latest gossip surrounding the celebrities lives, and wonder why are these beautiful rich people succumbing to the problems of the real world. Maybe they’re people too. Real rich people. Rich people who should be role models – and who should have a clue that the world is watching them. But celebrities also suffer from being needy for attention, low self-esteem, obsessiveness, compulsiveness – and the effects of their environment. Just as a child raised around drugs is more likely to do drugs – a celebrity raised in Hollywood is more likely to “do as Hollywood does” - and that’s party. There’s no doubt that partying leads to loose inhibitions, addictions and celebrity scandals. And celebrity parties are great for finding the latest gossip and snapping some unsuspecting shots of pictures of celebs participating in questionable actions.

Celebrity scandals promote the celebrities. Celebrities don’t choose their problems – but they can turn their problems into a healthy and beneficial promotional tool. A drug scandal can turn around into an anti-drug campaign. An anorexic celebrity will sell more books on “how to heal thyself” than the teenage girl down the street. And that celebrity book might just save that anorexic teenager. The celebrity jailbird picking up trash because of a judge’s order can now become an environmental evangelist.

Not all celebrity scandals can be turned into a healthy promotional tool – but pictures of celebs plastered over celebrity websites, tabloids and entertainment channels keeps the celebrity in full view of the public’s eye – so the celebrity can’t be forgotten. Can anyone truly forget Brittney Spears while she’s in the news – even if they really want to?

Celebrity scandals powered by the latest gossip and unforgettable pictures of celebs are just pictures of reality television videotaping the inside lives of everyone in the local supermarket express lane. But celebrity scandals are safe. (And more fun.) We can talk bad about celebrities and nobody’s feelings will be hurt. We can pity the celebrities because we know how they feel. We can love them or **** them, but chances are we’ll never meet them. A celebrity scandal without our involvement and only our opinion makes celebrity scandals easy on the soul.

As long as you live in India, you will never be too far from a movie theatre showing Hindi Movies (or Bollywood movies as they are sometimes called). You have the freedom to choose a movie out of all the new bollywood releases and you have the freedom to choose a cinema hall that you like best. You then happily settle down in comfy cushioned seats in the air conditioned hall munching popcorn, and scream away to glory when your favourite star makes his first appearance in the movie. The soft hearted amongst you also manage a couple of sobs when the twin brothers bichadofy in kumbh ka mela. Since most hindi movies have happy endings, your time is well spent, and you go back home happier. You dont really need a site like www.moovyshoovy.com as long as you keep your feet planted in India.

But lets assume you are an Indian living out of India.  It’d be quite a rare sight to see a hoarding which says “now showing - Bollywood movie - Kumbh ka Mela”, outside any cinema hall - something which you are so used to back  home !  The point that am getting to is that - these beloved  Indian friends of ours are deprived of one of the 4 basic necessities of Indian life - Roti, Kapda, Makaan and Bollywood Movies.

And this is where websites like MoovyShoovy comes in. No, no, no,  I dint mean that moovyshoovy.com distributes roti kapda and makaan to Indians abroad, but it surely takes care of the fourth basic necessity for any Indian - Bollywood movies. With hundreds and hundreds of bollywood hindi movies available online, it makes you feel so much at home ! At www.moovyshoovy.com you can choose to watch movies from a huge collection of online hindi movies. All the movies are very well indexed, for example, you can browse old hindi movies as well as  new hindi movies,  and you can also sort movies by the year of release, and in alphabetical order. And in addition to these, if you are a huge fan of Arshad Warsi or Salman Khan like me, then you can easily sort out  all Arshad Warsi movies, or Salman Khan movies and watch them online  - same goes for any other hindi bollywood actor. I really like the actor section where you can find a list of all the Bollywood hindi movie stars, and clicking on any of them will display a list of all the hindi movies starring that actor. And for those who donot like to miss any movie by their favourite director, there is a quick way of sorting out all the movies by director name. Same goes for Music director as well !

The search feature at moovyshoovy.com is quite nice, for example suppose you are searching for the once-angry-young-man Amitabh Bachchan Movies, and by mistake you type “Amibath”, the search engine at moovyshoovy.com will prompt you if you did mean to search for Amitabh Bachchan Movies or something else. Something similar to what google does, but specially designed for apna Indian film industry ! And while on Amitabh, did you know that in many of the old Amitabh movies, it was very common for his character in the film to be called “Vijay” - So, I wouldn’t be surprised if you searched for the actor Vijay in hindi movies, and it asks you “Did you mean Amitabh Bachchan ?” .. hahaha
